Power Forward Outreach
GAMFHA has partnered with Power Forward Outreach, Inc. to educate their participants on the importance of a healthy menstrual cycle and reproductive health. It's Founder, Keshara Rosser, became a teen mom in 2008, at the tender age of 15. Her journey was a difficult one but it inspired her to want better for herself and to make a difference within her community. She started Power Forward Outreach in 2019.
Power Forward is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that aims to empower young women by equipping them with the necessary life skills needed to break barriers and open doors to a brighter future. Their purpose is to provide young women in the Atlanta Metropolitan area, ages 12-23, with a supportive community and services needed to get their lives on the right path, to achieve their full potential, while also preventing teenage pregnancy within the community.
